Sig cx-5. I think the only restriction on the USB sticks is that they be 16GB or less. I have two 16GB USB sticks plugged into the center console ports and select them with the Audio Source screen and command knob. They hold a hell of a lot of songs on each one. I have never had any problems with them.
Select “Forget” or “Unpair” for all the listed devices except your car’s infotainment system. 3. Restart Devices. Sometimes, Bluetooth connectivity issues can be resolved by a simple restart. Turn off both your smartphone and the infotainment system of your CX-3. Wait for a few seconds and then turn them back on.
Make sure it’s at the very top level, not in a subfolder: Great. Done with your computer. Now you’ll need to move to your vehicle and find the USB plugs. You probably just think about them as where you plug in your charging cables. On my CX-5, the USB plugs are in the armrest storage compartment.
I have a 2014 Mazda CX-5 and the USB port no longer works. I have 2 iPod classics and 2 nano-pods. I purchased new apple cables because the dealer checked it and said it was my cable, not the USB port. None of the four work in the car. The USB icon on the radio will not light up, no connection.
2020 CX-5 Tour. Apr 2, 2021. #4. wlong01 said: Before taking it to the dealer do this. Remove the negative battery terminal and wait a few minutes then put back and tighten. Try the hatch. That's the hatch reset. Fixed mine and somebody else's on this forum.
I connected apple play for less than an hour and the audio suddenly stopped. I can see the song in the infotainment screen but no sound. I toggled the volume and it doesn’t even display the volume meter. After disconnecting apple play, trying Bluetooth, doing a hard reset, still nothing.

I picked up a $20 " mazda CX-5 seat motor drive shaft cable rod 2" stainless" on EBay. I had to cut off 1/4" w/ a Harb Frt electric cut off tool. It took a good bit of giggling to fit but it works, tho a bit noisy. Plan B would be to pick up a used seat track from a bone yard, $150 + shipping. Most yards are tied to the nationwide used parts
As noted, CarPlay has always worked fine until this week. Car doesn’t seem to recognize the phone is connected to launch CarPlay. Phone does connect via USB or Bluetooth to play music via Mazda menus. I have restarted my phone (iPhone 8 running 13.5.1) and reset the infotainment settings to factory with no luck. Made sure Siri is working.
